You have seen him around with his hand mic asking people around the bay “For one dollar finish these lyrics?”... which are usually Bay Area songs from Mac Dre,
P-Lo, and other bay area legends. We see him all over social media taking pictures with random people and in the last few months, he has introduced us to his new series of being a city dad.
We all know him as Mario0o0o0o0o0o but how well do we know the man behind the hand mic that always makes us laugh one story at a time?
Mario Riveira got his inspiration to become a blogger from his wife Vanessa during the pandemic. She is a lifestyle blogger sharing fashion and now her motherhood journey. Both Mario and Vanessa are dynamic influencer duo however their work is opposite from each other.
“My wife inspired me since I used to film her videos and one day it clicked that I should start too and here we are now, both creating and making relatable content for the people.” Says Mario as he smiles at the corner of the camera which I am sure his wife was there smiling back at him.
He started his influencer career during the pandemic and has always kept the safety Covid protocols intact with everyone to ensure safety not only for the people but also for his own family at home. “I always take a double-take on who I will approach to make sure they are not sick or look as if because I want to protect everyone and also my son”, says Mario.
Mario Riveira is not just a social media influencer, entertainer, husband, father, but also an entrepreneur who is all for the people by creating job opportunities one internship at a time. He recently launched an internship program to help someone who is well seasoned with the social media opportunity of a lifetime.“I believe in helping create jobs and opportunities for our city,” Says Mario as he shared how excited he is to finally have an intern. Mario is an advocate for jobs for the people as he launched an internship paid program to help create opportunities for the community and open doors for the selected individual.
“My job is not just to be another social media influencer but to be someone people can look up and be proud of as I want to represent the Bay Area with my work and charisma.”
His fans started the hashtag #mario4mayor around Instagram with hopes that Mario will run one day for the upcoming city elections for the city of San Francisco since he is not only passionate for the people of the city but also has a lot of great ideas to make the city he loves a safer place for the people and future like his son. “The hashtag is to create pressure on the elected officials who have let the city down. I see how bad the gentrification and crime is these days and instead of them using our taxpayer dollars to improve the city; they have let us down”, says Mario.
Mario believes that adding pressure to the elected officials will make a difference for the people. “If the opportunity truly comes for me to run for office one day then yes, I will do it. Time will tell and the people of the city will choose.”
Mario has created an audience across the Bay Area and Northern California with various social media outlets where his content is not only shared by locals but also by Bay Area legends such as Too Short and P-Lo. His TikTok has more than 114K followers and more than 3.8 Million views and Instagram has 11.2K followers with multiple views and shares across each social media platform. He has done interviews with many Bay Area artists such as StunnaMan02, Gunna Goes Global, P-Lo, RUCCI, Az Chike, and many more.
Mario0o0o0o0o0o is not only the voice for the people in the bay but also a clear representation of how to manage to be an influencer, entrepreneur, and father at the same time. Mario is working on a few collaborations with more exciting content and creative concepts that he is the influencer to keep an eye on.
